BlueBlackPurpleShine: A Transformable Fashion Collection

The concept behind BlueBlackPurpleShine revolves around the idea of transformation and the various sides of human personality. Each of us possesses different aspects of ourselves that emerge in different situations in life. The collection features transformable outfits that can be worn in different ways, enabling individuals to change their appearance based on their mood or desired expression.

The color palette of BlueBlackPurpleShine reflects the different aspects of human personality. Blue represents the deep self, while black represents the darker side. Purple symbolizes the brightest aspects of our being, and shine represents the expressions and masks we wear in society.

The realization of this collection involves meticulous sewing techniques and the use of various materials such as tricot, jersey silk, mesh, linen, metalized linen, impregnated cotton, velvet, and cotton satin. The combination of these materials adds texture and visual interest to the outfits.

Throughout the creative process, Kristina Sviderskaite faced the challenge of finding comfortable ways to transform the clothes. The goal was to create unique transformations that were also practical and wearable. By overcoming this challenge, the designer successfully created a collection that allows individuals to express their multifaceted personalities through their fashion choices.

BlueBlackPurpleShine was created over a period of three months in Vilnius, Lithuania. The collection was brought to life with the assistance of fashion designer assistant Elena Augustinaite, photographer Nerijus Kuzmickas, make-up and hair designer Kristina Raulinaityte, and models Urte Jasenkaite and Tekle Jasenkaite.

This innovative fashion collection has garnered recognition in the industry, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Fashion, Apparel, and Garment Design category in 2017. This prestigious award is a testament to the outstanding creativity and ingenuity of BlueBlackPurpleShine, which incorporates best practices in art, science, design, and technology. By contributing to quality of life improvements, this collection truly makes the world a better place.
